Objective:

The Information Technology Committee organizes various events for the benefit of IT Industry and the user community on various aspects such as Technology trends, Telecom, eLearning, eGovernance etc.

It also organizes sessions to sensitise the Legal and operational framework as well as the business environment in India and abroad. One of the best known Events of the IT Committee is the Dewang Mehta Memorial event held in April every year. The Committee also promotes events of like mined organizations in India and abroad for the benefit of the IT Industry.

 It brings out IT Directory after every three years.   It seeks inputs from Industry about the Policy level or operational changes required at the local, state and central Government levels and represents them suitably.  It provides support to the potential investors in Pune on a need based basis.

 The   Committee has launched an initiative to identify possible solutions to the traffic problems of the IT Community and is working with PMPML, PMC, Janwani and Hinjewadi Industries Association for the same.
