Objective:

Defence Committee of MCCIA was set up in 1999 with the aim to establish an interaction between Defence and Industry and to provide a platform to Defence Establishments and the Industry to synergise their strengths. The Committee has been endeavoring to have interaction between the Defence H.Q's, DRDO, DGQA & DPSU’s on one hand and the Industry on the other, with an aim to achieve the National goal of self-reliance in Defence Equipment.

With this aim the Committee regularly organises events and seminars which serve as a effective common platform for both Industry and Defence. In the recent past the Committee has organised such joint seminars with HQ Southern Command & DRDO on a variety of topics such as; Emerging Trends in Defence Communications, IT, Combat Engineering Equipment, CBRN &Simulation Systems In Defence.
