 Work of Committee:

1.    To organize monthly meetings to discuss various problems faced by the members of MCCIA.

2.    To organize periodical seminars on the subjects topical interests. To invite experts of indirect tax to interact with the participants.

3.    To attend Regional Advisory Committee and Public Grievance Committee meetings organized at the Central Excise Commissionerate of Pune I, II and III. In these meetings all the practical difficulties faced by the assessees are represented to the Department. Solutions on these problems are suggested or solicited from the department.

4.    Conduct Basic Training Course on Central Excise Law and Service Tax covering different legal procedures and documentation. This Course is conducted twice a year. Basic idea is to educate people through faculty from Central Excise Department, Industry and Professions.

5.    To reply to the queries asked by the members / public. This is done with the help of professionals and Central Excise Department.
