Initial education in the rural school and later in Shri Shivaji Preparatory Military Public School in Pune. Graduated from Fergusson College, Pune in Economics, Politics, Social Studies & Military Science.
Being a Farmer Entrepreneur, and a processor of farm produce, attended many multi- dimensional challenges at the farm level practices, processing and marketing level. Over the last 38 years, had opportunities to innovate and find solutions, to combat many fundamental problems in the field of Animal and Plant Breeding. Rearing of Pigs, Poultry & Cows with advance farm practices. Later diversified into Food Processing; standardization and marketing leading to ready to eat Borawake’s Kukooch-ku Chicken, farm to customer & direct marketing.
Presently, Chairman of the Agriculture Agri-business Committee, Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture, Pune since 1998.

• Member - Planning Committee – Govt. of Maharashtra, Post Harvest Management and Marketing in the 11th Five-Year Plan.
• Executive Council Member - National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad.

• Vice Chairman - Project Monitoring Committee, Govt. of Maharashtra, APEDA, Govt. of Netherland, Govt. of India.
