Participants will learn and practice skills critical to working effectively within and across functional boundaries, as well as external parties. They will learn where they stand in relation to risk and trust and how this affects their ability to negotiate sustainable results.


About the Session

Successful Negotiator is a highly interactive skill building workshop for gaining co-operation and negotiating more robust agreements. Participants will gain insights on the ability to project empathy and interpersonal flexibility. They will learn and practice skills critical to working effectively within and across functional boundaries, as well as external parties. They will learn where they stand in relation to risk and trust and how this affects their ability to negotiate sustainable results.

 

Topic to be covered

·         Examine how people communicate & miscommunicate with each other

·         Recognize the behavior of our listener in terms of their needs

·         See ourselves as others perceive us

·         Learn how to build trust, and practice empathy and flexibility

·         Learn a simple negotiation process

·         Identify and practice skills for building quality relationships

·         Develop personal action plan for someone you are negotiating with

 

Faculty

Mr. Charudatta Bhave, Facilitator, CATS Academy India Pvt. Ltd. has over 20 years of experience in HR with Cummins India. He has more than 10 years of experience as a corporate trainer in behavioral, leadership, team management & motivational trainings. He is Accredited Facilitator of ‘Leadership by Choice’ program and Senior Assessor for Management Assessment Centre with CATS Academy.  He has been instrumental in developing 'Finishing School' program through Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) which has helped in transforming Diploma/ITI students into industry ready candidates. He is an active Rotarian and has worked on several social and educational projects for Rotary. He is a Mechanical Engineer from COEP & Masters in Personnel Management from Pune University. Currently he is pursuing his PhD in Behavioral Science
